Marrow

Interactive Demo Studio

Live interactive preview of compiled Marrow topologies across multiple layout archetypes, chrome modes, and theme synchronization.

Explore compiled Marrow network topologies directly in the browser. Every topology below is compiled from declarative YAML, rendered via the offline viewer engine, and mounted using the Marrow component architecture.

Hierarchical Core, Distribution, and Access switching fabric with dual HA uplinks.

Architecture & Layout Archetypes

Marrow produces deterministic layouts based on semantic network structure rather than arbitrary canvas coordinates.

1. Tiered Hierarchical Core

  • Engine Strategy: Structured rank separation with core, distribution, and access tiers aligned horizontally.
  • HA Link Bundles: Redundant pairs are aligned as adjacent partner nodes with virtual inter-chassis links (StackWise-Virtual, vPC, MLAG).
  • Preset: Tiered Campus Core (/demo/tiered-embed.html)

2. Multi-Zone Datacenter

  • Engine Strategy: Logical security and management boundaries partitioned into styled perimeter cards (DMZ, App Tier, Storage Fabric).
  • Cross-Zone Routing: Inter-zone firewalls and spine switches route traffic across border interfaces.
  • Preset: Multi-Zone Datacenter (/demo/zoned-embed.html)

3. Radial WAN Hub-and-Spoke

  • Engine Strategy: Radial coordinate calculation placing central redundant core routers in the nucleus with remote spokes distributed evenly along an orbital perimeter.
  • Overlay Semantics: Visualizes encrypted IPsec / DMVPN tunnels as animated dashed lines with cryptographic telemetry chips.
  • Preset: Hub & Spoke Fabric (/demo/hub-spoke-embed.html)

4. High-Density Scale Fabric

  • Engine Strategy: Canvas LOD (Level-of-Detail) rendering designed for topologies exceeding 300+ devices.
  • Performance: High frame rate panning with radar minimap culling and instantaneous sub-millisecond node search.
  • Preset: Scale Test (/demo/scale-embed.html)

Chrome Modes & Integration

Marrow diagrams support two standard presentation modes:

ModeURL Hash / PropInspectorMinimapControls HUDUse Case
Embedded Stagechrome=minimalCollapsible drawerCollapsible radarFloating HUDIn-doc callouts, RFC embeds, dashboards
Full Workbenchchrome=fullIntegrated panelFixed sidebarTop toolbarStandalone diagrams, audits, NOC screens

Embedding with React / Next.js

Mount diagrams using the shadcn-compatible <MarrowEmbed /> component:

import { MarrowEmbed } from '@marrow/ui';

export function NetworkDashboard() {
  return (
    <MarrowEmbed
      src="/demo/tiered-embed.html"
      chrome="minimal"
      inspector="on"
      minimap="on"
      theme="auto"
      height="650px"
      floatingActions={true}
    />
  );
}

Direct Iframe Embed

You can embed any compiled Marrow HTML file using a standard <iframe> and control its state via the hash fragment or postMessage:

<iframe
  src="/demo/tiered-embed.html#chrome=minimal;inspector=on;minimap=on"
  width="100%"
  height="600"
  style="border: 1px solid var(--fd-border); border-radius: 1rem;"
></iframe>

Bi-Directional postMessage Protocol

When embedded in external applications or documentation portals, the Marrow runtime communicates across window boundaries using postMessage:
